Begin with a 5km guided hike at a relaxed, inclusive pace through the island’s stunning National Park, where you’ll spot wildlife and take in sweeping coastal views. At the end of your hike, you’ll arrive at Radical Bay, where Pilgrim is anchored and waiting. It’s the perfect balance of adventure and island-style indulgence.
The Trek:
Hidden Trails & Island WildlifeYour day begins early at the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal, where you’ll meet your guide from Destination Adventure and set off through the lush landscapes of Magnetic Island National Park.
As the island wakes up, you’ll be treated to panoramic views, secluded beaches, and up-close encounters with native wildlife (yes, including koalas in the wild).

Time to Unwind in the Bay
At the end of your hike, you’ll arrive at Radical Bay, where Pilgrim is anchored and waiting. Step aboard and shift gears — it’s time to relax. Float off the back of the yacht on our giant inflatable mat, dive into the clear waters for a swim, or simply stretch out on deck with a drink and take in the stillness. There’s no rush — just calm seas, coastal beauty, and a sense of total ease.
Lunch in Paradise
As the calm of the bay sets in, the crew will serve a generous grazing-style lunch featuring the best local produce. Enjoy fresh prawns, antipasto, artisan baguettes, tropical fruits, and Clare’s signature chutney — all thoughtfully paired with crisp organic wines, craft beer, or chilled non-alcoholic options. It's island-style dining at its finest, served in one of Magnetic Island’s most secluded bays.
Sail Home in Style
After lunch, we hoist the sails for a slow, scenic cruise back to Nelly Bay. This is your chance to reflect, unwind, and see the coastline from a new perspective. With the sun on your face and the wind in your hair, it’s the perfect close to a day of island adventure and barefoot luxury.
