Top Tips for an Awesome Adventure on the Trails of Magnetic Island
Heading out for your own walking adventure? Make sure you’re prepared for the tropical conditions so you can enjoy every step on the trails safely.

Here’s how to trek smart:
  • Walk in the cooler parts of the day – Early mornings and late afternoons are your best friends.
  • Carry at least 2 litres of water – Stay hydrated and take regular sips.
  • Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes – The right footwear makes all the difference on rugged trails.
  • Protect yourself from the sun – Slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen, slap on a hat, and don’t forget your sunnies!
