Escape the everyday and find your flow on the ruggedly beautiful Magnetic Island. This isn't just a mountain bike clinic; it’s a weekend designed for women who want to level up their riding, connect with like-minded adventurers, and soak in the "Maggie" magic.

From Singletrack to Sunset Sails

When the helmets come off, the luxury begins. We believe the best way to recover from a day in the saddle is with a little salt water and a lot of style.

Pilgrim Sunset Sailing: Step aboard the stunning 58-foot luxury yacht, Pilgrim. We’ll trade our jerseys for luxury and enjoy organic wines and gourmet local cheeses as we sail the turquoise waters of Cleveland Bay.

Island Exploration: Beyond the trails, there’s time for hidden bay swims, koala spotting, and total relaxation.

  • Down Time: Plenty of space in the schedule for a nap, a swim, or a quiet coffee.

What to Bring
  • Your mountain bike (in good working order).
  • Standard riding gear (helmet, gloves, hydration).
  • High-powered lights for our signature night ride.
  • Swimmers, sunscreen, and your favourite "island casual" outfit for dinner.

Itinerary 


Friday – Fundamentals & Foundations 
 
Kick things off with Fundamentals Friday, a relaxed mid-morning session designed to set you up for success. You’ll meet your coaches, get comfortable with your bike, and unpack the key building blocks of great riding—balance, stability, and body awareness. We’ll explore what you already know, what might be holding you back, and the essential skills that create confidence on the bike. It’s all about creating a strong, supportive foundation before we level things up over the weekend. 

Theres's time after lunch for a swim , snorkel or just relax at Alma Bay before the night ride out to West Point  to enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets going! Enjoy some bubbles and nibbles on the beach before riding back under lights. 

Optional group dinner at Mama Roma at Picnic Bay 


 
Saturday – Skills & Confidence 
 
Saturday is where the magic happens, with two focused sessions to build real confidence and control. In the morning, we dive into cornering—learning how body position, vision, and timing come together to help you ride smoother and feel more balanced through turns. In the afternoon, we shift to descending, breaking down the body positioning and techniques that take the fear out of riding downhill. Expect plenty of “aha” moments as everything starts to click and your riding begins to feel more natural and fun. 

After a day of conquering switchbacks and leveling up your trail game, it’s time to trade the technical for the tranquil.
Once the Saturday skills sessions wrap up, we’re ditching the pads and the grit for something a little more luxurious. We’ll be heading offshore aboard the elegant Pilgrim for a private sunset sail.

What's included 

  • 1.5 - 2 hour sailing cruise in Cleveland Bay
  • Unlimited Australian Organic Wines, local beers or non-alcoholic beverages
  • Local cheese platter with accompaniments including the famous Pumpkin Chutney


Sunday – Take It to the Trail 
 Sunday we kick off things off early with a sunrise hike up Hawkings Point.

Then the MTB session is all about putting your new skills into action. We’ll head out for a supported trail ride, splitting into ability-based groups so everyone can ride at a comfortable pace while continuing to learn. With your new understanding of balance, cornering, and descending, you’ll have the chance to apply it all in a real trail setting—building confidence, having fun, and finishing the weekend feeling strong, capable, and ready for more.
