Join Australian running legend Steve Moneghetti and local running coaches Simon O'Regan, Sid Willis and Karey Corrie

for three days of running, technique, informative seminars, yoga and strength sessions on Magnetic Island.

Friday
  • 5.30pm We kick off our weekend of running with an easy run with Mona and Karey Corrie followed by run technique drills – Meet at Peppers Blue on Blue reception
​Saturday
  • 6:30am A big Saturday kicks off with Mona’s Fartlek led by Steve Moneghetti - awesome! Nelly Bay School Oval
  • 9:30am An informative Sports Science presentation by Dr Deborah Latouf on heart rate variability, what is cardiac drift and how to use training stress scores to improve your running - this is one not to be missed! Bungalow Bay
  • 11:00am Sports Psychology - Getting in the right Mindset and how to deal with Setbacks with the fantastic Dr Joann Lukins Bungalow Bay
  • Lunch
  • 2pm Glutes on with a Glute activation and Core Strength training session with Deb Jeacle Bungalow Bay
  • 4:30pm Afternoon Team Relay run at Nelly Bay with Mona and Sid Willis
  • 7:00pm Barefoot Restaurant Group Dinner with presentation by Steve Moneghetti on his running experience (included)
Sunday
  • 6:00am Picnic Bay Jetty A pre-dawn walk up to a lookout where we can catch the Sunrise over Cleveland Bay, before heading off on a long run with Steve out to Cockle Bay and West Point 10, 15 or 20km return graded options available , cool down swim at Picnic Bay afterwards
  • 9:00am we have a restorative Yoga session on the foreshore at Nelly Bay 
  • 11:00 am Simon O'Regan presentation on "Failing to plan is planning to fail" Peppers Blue on Blue
  • 12:15pm Lunch Peppers Boardwalk Restaurant (included)
  • 1:30pm Depart for home

We are absolutely stoked to announce that Louise is coming to Nth Queensland to talk all things sports nutrition at our Steve Moneghetti Running Retreat Sunday 10th September at Peppers Blue on Blue Resort. Louise will discuss her research on low carb, fat adaptation and the endurance athlete, race day nutrition, protein & recovery and weight loss.
